Mary Bechtel is Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer of Evans, Hauseman & Richard, Inc. Mary is a lifelong resident of Pottstown. Mary is married to Roger (Bucky) Bechtel and has three children. Mary’s son Bradley, daughter Tracey (Bechtel) Iezzi, and daughter Ashley all live in Pottstown. Mary is the proud grandmother of Zane, Cassidy and Cole Bechtel and Brittany, Sarah and Madison Iezzi. Mary’s youngest daughter is enrolled in St. Pius X High School.



Mary started her insurance career with Evans, Hauseman & Richard in 1967 when she was hired by Leon K. Hauseman, one of the original founders of the agency. Mary has worked for E H & R since 1967 taking off one year to be a stay-at-home mom. Mary has been a partner with Evans, Hauseman & Richard since 1982. Mary is also the office manager in charge of the day to day operations.

Mary is proud to be a member of Goodville Mutual Casualty Company’s Partnership Council. Mary is also Treasurer of the Pottstown Symphony Orchestra Assoc. And the Pottstown Symphony Orchestra Auxiliary. Mary is very active in her church, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. Mary enjoys camping and traveling with her family.
